Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) Open House 2018 was successfully held on 27 January 2018 at New Academic Block, Lingnan University.  A wide variety of events including programme introduction, academic advising, HKDSE Mock Examination, campus tours, thematic talks and taster programmes were arranged for students and parents to learn more about LIFE, as well as to assist them in planning their future study and career.
 
Mr. Ryan Wong (Learning Manager of Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin), Ms. Chung Han Ying Cindy (Principal of SKH St Peter's Church Kindergarten (Castle Peak) and Vice-chairman of Tuen Mun District Kindergarten Heads Association), Blue God Zi (Online Writer), Dr. Siu Yan Ho (Lecturer of  Department of Chinese of Lingnan University), Ms. Cecilia Yeung (Hong Kong High Jumper) and her coach Mr. Wan Tat Yung were invited to be the guest speakers of various thematic talks, to provide the participants with useful articulation and career information.

Apart from thematic talks, three Taster Programmes taught by LIFE’s lecturer, highlighting “Hospitality (Hotel Operations)”, “Early Childhood Education” and “Sports Coaching and Leadership” were organized for students, so that they could get a taste of studying at LIFE and at the same time, gain more information about the industries they are interested in.
 
Information booths were set up to introduce the Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma Yi Jin and Top-up Degree programmes offered by LIFE.  Campus tours were also arranged for visitors to explore the campus of Lingnan University.
