Lingnan University announced today that Dr Ng Chi Wing, Raymond, has been appointed as Director of the Community College at Lingnan University and Lingnan Institute of Further Education, with effect from 1 September 2015.
As Director of the Community College at Lingnan University (CCLU) and Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE), Dr Ng will be responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of development of CCLU and LIFE. He will work closely with other departments within the University in programme development and quality assurance. He will also lead the teams of CCLU and LIFE to collaborate with other institutions and organisations in offering a wide range of quality courses to meet the needs of the community.
“I am pleased to join Lingnan University and look forward to working closely with the colleagues of CCLU and LIFE to provide quality academic programmes to meet the learning and continuing education needs of the society,” Dr Ng said.
Dr Ng has had extensive experience in teaching, research, programme development and academic management in local tertiary institutions. For the past three years, Dr Ng served as Associate Director (Academic) at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
