Dr Yu Kar Ming has been appointed as the Director of the Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) effective 1 December 2020.
 
As the Director of LIFE, Dr Yu will provide leadership in all aspects of the Institute’s development, which include overseeing the various programmes offered by LIFE and ensuring their quality, upgrading the teaching and learning environment, and collaborating with the University’s academic departments and other local and overseas institutions/organizations in offering a wide range of quality courses and programmes to meet the diverse learning and professional development needs of society.
 
Dr Yu is a seasoned professional in teaching and administration with around 27 years of extensive experience in local and overseas tertiary institutions.  He served in various teaching and management posts at the Education University of Hong Kong, Community College of City University, University of Bristol and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
