To encourage local youngsters in learning Japanese language and thus enhancing their understanding of Japan and broadening their world views, Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong (SOJLEHK) implemented the SOJLEHK Scholarship for Sub Degree & Higher Diploma students of Japanese language learning.
 
Mr. Chan Tsz Ming, student of Higher Diploma in Japanese Language and Communications, was awarded the SOJLEHK scholarship with his outstanding academic ability and personality.  The award presentation ceremony was held on 29 September 2018 at the Hongkong Japanese Club.  Mr. Simon IP, JP, Chairman of Board of Governors of LIFE and legal advisor to the Society of Japanese Language Education, and Dr. Paul Li, Programme Head (Arts), joined the event to commend the achievements of Tsz Ming.
