Our students of Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education organized a sound-measuring game to kindergarten children to promote STEAM Education on 13 November 2017.

Children learned how to measure and record the sound level and understood the difference between harmonic sound and noise.  They also designed a device to protect their hearing.

Through this game, children can achieve the following targets.

Science: Understand the technique of sound transmission
Technology: Make use of software to measure noise
Engineering: Make devices to protect hearing by materials
Art: Draw and record unit of sound
Mathematics: Measure the sound decibel
