Organised by The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) in association with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the Junior Sports Reporters programme offers basic journalism training to young people aged 17 to 25.  Through practical experience, the programme aims to improve students' language and communication skills.  High-calibre professionals in the broadcasting field, including radio and television hosts and commentators, are invited to train and mentor the students.
 
A briefing session was arranged for students of Higher Diploma in Chinese Media Writing and Production on 4 December 2018.   Mr. Li Tak Nang, Hong Kong's famous football commentator, and alumni of this programme were invited to introduce the purpose and concept of the programme and share their experience and achievement with our students.
