Programme Objectives

  • Provides students with a broad base of business knowledge and skills, encompassing all major courses in business studies including accounting, human resource management, information technology, etc.

  • Provides a ladder for further studies at the undergraduate level in business disciplines

  • Trains para-professionals for employment in related business industries

Programme Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, students will be able to:​
  • explain and apply quantitative analysis in handling business issues;
  • analyze and solve business problems by selecting appropriate business theories;
  • demonstrate proficiency in the use of English and Chinese languages and communicate effectively for further studies or work;
  • apply creative problem-solving, IT applications, and critical thinking skills for handling further studies or career pursuits; and
  • demonstrate an understanding of cross-disciplinary knowledge and possible cross-disciplinary application.

學院商科同學參加由香港電腦商會主辦的「幫你做老闆-創業學習賽」,在香港電腦通訊節擺設攤位銷售數碼產品,一共贏得六個獎項,成績驕人。

同學與供應商建立友好關係,成功讓其Facebook專頁獲得最多人讚好,並憑著和服裝扮吸引奪得「最佳社交媒體宣傳獎」、「最佳現場匯報獎」、「最佳展位佈置獎」及總季軍一共四個獎項,成為比賽的大贏家。

From Coffee Lover to Coffee Entrepreneur Seminar

.Business Week 2016 (Grooming Workshop and Wine Tasting Workshop)

Business Week 2016 was held by the Business Division of CCLU & LIFE for all business students in February 2016

Proper grooming is important in workplace. To prepare our students for the career after graduation, the Business Division organized a Grooming Workshop to equipped our students with essential make-up skills so as to boost their self-confidence through a neat and tidy appearance. A professional make-up artist was invited to share with our students the grooming styles for different occasions and make-up skills required. Apart from the Grooming Workshop, a Wine Tasting Workshop was also held in the same week. A sommelier was invited to introduce the history and culture of wine and the skills of wine tasting to our business students.

「梅花香自苦寒來」。在嶺南大學持續進修學院的兩年裡,結識了很多良師益友,很慶幸能有這麼好的學習環境,讓我在原先的基礎上一點一點的進步。副學士的課程不像高中那樣每時每刻都有老師在旁邊指導,我們難免會遇到一些棘手的問題,所以在向老師和同學請教時不要害羞,要敢想敢做敢說,才能在學習中成長。「三人行,必有我師焉」,多發現周圍人好的學習方法從而改進自己身上的不足。學如逆水行舟,不進則退,只有不斷努力才能取得優異成績。感謝在LIFE這兩年來遇見的每一位老師和同學,是你們讓我不斷成長,成就今天的我。
