Student Development Office (SDO) aims to provide whole-person development services to students. A wide range of student activities are organized and arranged by SDO throughout the academic year. SDO is dedicated to fostering and nurturing a learning atmosphere, in which students can develop their strengths, realize their potentials, and enhance their whole-personal growth.
Our student counsellors are ready to assist students who are facing challenges and personal difficulties in life. Students can seek counselling services for self-understanding, personal growth and addressing the concerns on interpersonal relationship or personal issues.
Lifelong Career Planning
To prepare students’ readiness for career or further study, SDO organizes career development activities such as personality assessment workshop, articulation forum, advice on CV writing, mock interview and career counselling.
Aiming at strengthening students’ competiveness, a number of award-bearing skills training courses is provided for students to obtain international recognized qualifications.
Service Learning and Volunteer Service
SDO provides a wide spectrum of local and international volunteer exposures to students. Before taking part in different kinds of service learning activities, students will received trainings to equip them with necessary skills and knowledge on the serving groups.
Students are highly recommended to organize or participate in wide-range of extracurricular activities such as singing contest, sports competitions and other leisure activities.
