Information Session with Secondary School Principals 2024
Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) held the Information Session with secondary school principals on 30 January. Thanks to the support of many secondary school Principals and Career Masters/ Mistresses, the event was a great success.
The event began with a welcome speech from Professor Yu Kar-ming, the Director of LIFE, followed by a presentation on the latest information by Mr. LAM Chak-hung, Justin, the Head of Teaching Faculty. Four current students were invited to share their campus life and personal experiences in their studies, providing guests with first-hand information about student life.
Finally, Ms. SIU Sau-yin, Cindy, the Associate Director of LIFE, and Mr. Liang Kwun Fan, the Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Chinese Middle Schools (AHKCMS), announced the signing of the Collaboration Scheme, which includes but not limited to Scholarship and Principal Recommendation Programme. LIFE and AHKCMS hope that this collaboration will further encourage and support secondary school students who aspire to higher education.
A great gratitude to all the principals and teachers who took the time to attend. LIFE has been dedicated to sharing timely articulation information with local secondary schools and tailoring talks and articulation activities for the schools to help students plan for the future out of their interest.
