LIFE Graduate Given Another SOJLEHK Scholarship

Congratulations to LEUNG Ho Man, Sunny, a fresh graduate of Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) Higher Diploma in Japanese Language and Communications, on being awarded the Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong (SOJLEHK) Scholarship for Sub-Degree & Higher Diploma Students of Japanese Language Learning and received an award of HK$6,000.

The award presentation ceremony was held on 20 November 2021 at the Regal Hongkong Hotel, officiated by Ambassador OKADA Kenichi, Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong.  Mr. Daniel JIANG, LIFE’s Programme Leader (Higher Diploma in Japanese Language and Communications), joined the event, commending the achievements of Sunny. Sunny thanked LIFE’s lecturers for their insightful sharing in class, including Japanese workplace etiquette and festival culture, which greatly aroused his interest in learning more about Japanese culture and language. Sunny was also grateful for LIFE’s recommendation. The scholarship boosted his confidence in Japanese language learning.

The Scholarship was established by SOJLEHK to encourage local youngsters in acquiring Japanese language and thus enhancing their understanding of Japan and broadening their horizon.
