Programme Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, students will be able to:​
  • demonstrate effective Chinese writing skills for communication in the realm of media and public relations communication;
  • analyze the media critically and recognize the relationship between media and society;
  • demonstrate creative digital design and media production skills;
  • demonstrate proficiency in oral and written language competence in both English and Chinese for future studies or work; and
  • apply problem-solving, IT and critical thinking skills for handling further studies or career pursuit.

Teaching and Learning Support



學院為修讀「中文媒體寫作及製作高級文憑」的學生組織了一系列的課外活動,在傳統教學之外,帶領學生走出課堂,親身感受傳媒機構的工作環境,了解各類媒體的運作。活動反應熱烈,參與的同學紛紛表示受益匪淺,從各媒體工作者的分享中學習到很多寶貴的經驗,為日後升學及就業提供了很大的幫助。

2018年9月20日中文媒體寫作及製作高級文憑學生有幸至香港鳳凰衛視總部,參與電視節目錄製。

    

​參觀鳳凰衛視 2018

2018年4月27日,中文媒體寫作及製作高級文憑課程的師生到訪位於大埔的香港鳳凰衛視總部。同學們瞭解到鳳凰的發展歷史,並到訪節目製作中心認識電視新聞的製作流程,參觀錄影棚及後期製作中心,親身感受電視台的工作環境及氛圍。參觀當天適逢兩韓領導人金正恩與文在寅的歷史性會晤,同學們有幸見證了重大新聞事件的現場直播過程,可謂機會難得,受益匪淺。
    

    

嶺南大專生參觀東方報業中心

校刊編輯實習計劃

修讀本課程的同學將有機會參與課程刊物「本嶺」的製作,親身體驗雜誌從構思,採訪,寫稿,編輯到最後印刷出版的全部過程,將課堂所學應用於現實工作中,為畢業後投入相關行業打下基礎。在線預覽:Vol. 1   Vol. 2

紀錄片及微電影製作

同學將在課程中體驗紀錄片及微電影的製作過程,學習拍攝及剪輯的技巧。

參觀香港電台

​同學們參觀了港台的工作環境,並進入錄音間體驗電台直播的氛圍。港台工作人員 悉心為同學講解了整個電台節目的運作模式,從策劃到最後播出的整個製作流程。 在這裡,同學們還認識了各種各樣的錄音器材,了解了香港公共廣播的歷史及現狀,對於很多希望將來投身電臺工作的同學來說,實為一次難得的體驗。

港台工作人員介紹香港公共廣播的歷史與現狀,講解電台節目從策劃到播出的製作流程,並邀請知名音樂節目主持人林蕙小姐與同學現場互動,分享從初次開咪到獨立製作節目的經驗。

參觀東方報業集團

在東方,同學們參觀了各個採編部門,了解報業及新媒體製作實況。同學們參觀了《東方日報》、ontv東網電視等部門,了解一篇報導由採訪、撰稿、美術、排版、印刷的誕生過程。同學們還有機會參觀了東方報業的印刷廠,了解了報紙的印刷及包裝流程,在東網電視,同學們還有幸獲邀體驗網上電視製作過程,嘗試做新聞主播的滋味。透過這次訪問,學生們不但了解傳媒的運作模式,更明白將來在工作中需要具備良好的文字寫作及新媒體創作能力,激勵同學在課堂上更加努力地學習。

參觀DBC數碼電台

受主持人之邀,同學們參觀了位於數碼港的DBC數碼電台,並獲得「開咪」的 機會,與觀眾在電波中分享讀書的苦樂。
       

參觀鳳凰衛視 2017

位於大埔工業區的鳳凰衛視,也是同學們的學習地點之一。在這裡同學們了解到鳳凰衛視的歷史,並實地考察電視節目的製作過程和鳳凰數碼電台U-Radio的運作。在鳳凰衛視資訊台的電視直播間,同學們對於電視新聞直播有了更直觀及深入的了解。在這次參觀中,同學們對新聞的時效性及突發事件的報導有了更深刻的了解,收穫頗豐。

透過這兩年的課程,在老師的悉心教導及亦師亦友的學習環境下,我認識了媒體的歷史、知道了文字的厲害,更有機會製作不同的影片。光陰似箭,日月如梭。大專生活過得最豐富的兩年,隨著我的畢業拉下帷幕,我卻從不為此感到傷感,更感到無比的幸運。尤其是能在友情、知識、經驗等方面都各有收穫和長進時,方才為當初真懵懂的我作出如此的選擇而感到自豪。
