Graduation Ceremony of Navigation Scheme for Young Persons in Care Services, organised by Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies (APIAS), Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) and Haven of Hope Christian Service (HOHCS), was held successfully on 16 October 2021 at Lingnan University. 
 
Officiating guests including Prof. Dickson Chan, Director of APIAS, Prof. Yu Kar Ming, Director of LIFE, and Ms. Yung Lai, President of Haven of Hope Professional Training Institute, attended the ceremony and presented awards.  This year, there were 13 graduates and 3 of them obtained Excellent Student Awards.
 
The Social Welfare Department launched the Navigation Scheme for Young Persons in Care Services in July 2015, providing a total of 1,000 training places starting from 2015-16. It aims at providing opportunities of employment and training, including a two-year part-time course under government subsidy, for young people who are interested to work in the elderly and rehabilitation care services, so that they may develop their profession along an established career path through on-the-job training.
